Forget the Bears and the Deers....BEWARE THE FIRES IN HARRIMAN!

Well, if it's not bears, deers, or man-hungry caribou, it something else. In this instance, that something else just happens to be brush fires up in Harriman. Here's a link to the story... CAUTION: Bears in Saddle River County Park

FYI, those of us that live and/or train in and near the saddle river county park, two bears have been spotted in the park this morning, near the corners of Midland Ave and Paramus Ave. The police were trying to hunt them down, but called off the search apparently because they were far enough into the woods. Peter, I definitely want to set one up for the bike as well. I did get the clearance from the doc today to begin running with some adjustments to my orthodics. So i am thinking a week or so after placid would be a good time to do it as i will hopefully get in some good running miles over the next week. Its basically the first time i have ran in two months and I am thinking that with my muscle memory bringing my legs back to what they were before the accident will very quickly change my lactate for running. So if we can wait a week or two I think it might be better for the long term running plan. Let me know what you think!

Right back at ya. I couldn't exactly justify dropping out or going on, so the company helped me make the right decision. I e-mailed VIGO to thank him for the ice on the course, otherwise...wow. I also checked out those Garmin watches and may pick one up! Til next time...

Nice! Glad you enjoy it! I need to add more - it's nice to "plug into" this site for a "cream of the crop" selection rather than schlep my iPod around and sift through 1,000+ songs. Come back in a few and see what I've added!
