Hey Paul! That sounds great with your son & his cousin -- actually, a great place to post this would be in the "Wyckoff Y Tri Team" group, and I think that the best person to help him get started would be Bryan McDonnell. He's taking the lead with the team, is the masters coach, and I'm pretty sure would also be available when Kevin is ready to get started.

Total Immersion is a great resource, but I think it's most helpful to people who are already strong swimmers -- otherwise it's like reading about how to do something, when you don't have a context...probably not super helpful. Make sense?

Paul...I think I may be down for some miles in LP that weekend. The last day of work for me is the 19th. So i could leave by like 3:30ish and then be up there for the night ready to train hard and long all weekend. Give me a call on my cell...I left it on your machine in case you dont have it!

Yeah I would love to ride. I would also be down for getting in some good training in LP with you guys. I'll have to see about getting a room though. I have already spent a lot this year...new bike (road bike)...hotels for eagleman and lp...so we'll see. Anyway, definitely down for some riding...I havent been getting in nearly as much consistent training as I would have liked to...but things are looking up and I still have a fair amount of time to get into good shape before LP.
