I am doing the UGL tri on Sunday. I waited too long to sign up for Skylands and was shut out. Are there any other procrastinators who are doing UGL?

there are a few of us going up to the Wykoff bike course Saturday morning. other than that I don't know of anything planned. Feel free to start something up.....or join us at Wykoff.

I asked Steve if he was up for riding Monday - i have another long ride on my schedule that day.

oh - sorry..."chester hilly" is the name of the ride for the ride that I did with Steve this weekend. Don't let that scare you....its not that bad. There is just about every type of terrain on that ride - its a great training ride.

We haven't gone to "the great swamp" near Morristown in a long time either - that's fun to do - we go there to ride intervals, its nice because everyone can ride their own pace for the intervals and then meetup at the end of this loop and recover back to the starting point.

ha haha!! Yup....makes me look fast! :)

Steve is always game for a "chester hilly ride"....so i am sure if you are training for a century he'd be up for going out.

do you have one in mind?

Oh yeah - that was at the beginning of my long run.
my ride with Steve was good - you should come with us one time - are you traiing for a century ride this year? Steve is a good person to ride with - he doesn't like to "hammer" the whole way - we have certain places here and there where we push but we also have fun and get to talk on the ride too. Its a nice ride - good mix of terrain, some good climbs, some rolling and some flat - just about everything.
it was a bit cool - but the most tricky part was keeping my glasses clear - tehy kept fogging up on me from the moisture in the air. I eventually took them off about 1/4 of the way into the ride. Milke and steve both wear them for vision - i was just wearing them to protect my eyes from the wind. Other than that it was a really nice ride.
