Hi, Julie:
I'm glad your training is going well...I'm sure adding 10 minutes in increments will help you get back to where you want to be...Of course your baby weight will come off in due time.....
I just swam outside this morning in an outdoor pool and it was great, but for Tucson it was quite chilly with cloud cover at 6:15 and only 77 degrees...I know that's absurd to say, but it'll be good for me to get used to the colder temps...will swim finally in a lake this weekend (it's quite a journey to find water here), so that'll be a good test with my wetsuit after almost a year away from it all...
Enjoy your springtime; i know it's been cool and wet somewhat, but that's sure to change soon! Can't wait to be in Oregon; it's been a year, if you can believe it.......I'll be ready to get out of the heat by then.
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your message! It looks nice and hot in Tucson :). Hope you had a great training day. Naps are definitely a must. I had my longest run of 45 minutes yesterday morning and it felt great. Right now I am running 3-4 days a week. I am adding 10 minutes each week. Luckily my body/heart/lungs remember what it is like! Trying to get rid of this last 10 pounds of baby fat will be quite difficult :( ugh! I just have to be patient and keep on exercising!
Your race is coming up soon. I hope we have good weather for you!
Have a great day!
Julie
