Meant to discuss some different ways to approach the fourth sport in triathlon - strength training. With many different ways and approaches being suggest "out there", how is one to make sense of it all? Hopefully this forum will help.
Dogs are so great to train with! Unfortunately mine is turning 13 later this month and she's not so into running or mountain biking anymore- but she still wants to fast-hike for about 2 hours up and around the mountains. To get training time in, but still let her get her long hikes we have been carrying packs (25 lbs for me, 35 for my boyfriend) and doing 1.5-2 hr hikes over the winter months.
Just a tip if you know anyone who struggles dividing free time between training and caring for an older dog. :)
Goodyear would be nice because I can use the Y there to get slowered up - or I know where the downtown Y is in Phoenix (on 1st ave). So anywhere in the surrounding area would be fine....
I travel to AZ for work at times - and I fly into Phoenix. I swim at the pool in Goodyear. I'd also like to do some running when I am in town - where are some good routes??
