Springing into action

Spring is almost here and with it the race season. In fact the road race season officially kicked off today in Fort Collins, but without me. Right now, my focus is later in March for the San Dimas Stage Race. Yep, it's the same race where I was throttled in the road race. I am intent on not letting that happen again. Winter solstice

The winter solstice is here and that can only mean one thing. The days are getting longer!!! It's only a small victory, but I will take what I can get. Like last year, my off-season training has been spotty. Unlike last year, I am not getting stressed by the lack of exercise. Now when I say a lack of exercise, I really mean cycling. Hey Jonathan, welcome! You do realize, however, that we're bending the rules by allowing Nate to invite his roadie bros, right? ;-) I actually rode in one of your monster group rides a couple years ago, but I had to borrow Nate's old yellow CoMotion circus bike - man, was I wasted after that one...Cheers!
