Awesome! I am glad to see that the small adjustments are working for you! Keep it up...I would try doing some longer sets to...this was your body gets used to focusing on the form you'll need over a longer period of time with more strokes. Try doing sets of 150 or 200. It will help you start to build some endurance for the longer racing you have in store!

Jeff, I qwould definitely start going that many times per week asap. Maybe even throw in a fourth. The more pool time you get the more comfortable you're going to be. And you couldn't over do it! Its all zero impact and wont break you down like naything else you'll do. Comfort is key...and its like naything else. the more you do it...the better it'll feel!

Oh yeah, Jeff. I almost forgot. If you are around maybe we can meet at the pool over the next couple of weeks and I can help you out with some stroke work. Maybe give you some things to focus on. Make sure that you are working on breaking bad habits and creating good ones. Rather than solidifying bad ones...let me knoe...give me a call buddy.

You can definitely use it in the water. You will during your races. I don't use mine in the pool...because typically your HR is lower in the water anyway. Just get some pool time to become more effecient.

Was that 200 or 2000? And the good thing is you have to consistently get in the water. Becoming comfortable with it is huge and will allow you to be more efficient and move on with speed and endurance. Just don't worry about speed for now and work on time in the water. We will get together soon for some tips on how to improve your stroke. You might also want to look into the master's coach there...see if there is someone who can give you a private lesson.

Awesome! I might be in for that race too! Not sure though. I am planning out my season as we speak...planning around IM that is...

Thats pretty good! But...ou need to relax and definitely tone it back...there is no reason to push so hard right now...nothing coming up...definitely go easy and create a big base right now until you start training...

No problem.
You want a bike that you feel GOOD about and not have to sell a kidney for :)
