At the Lookout Mtn hill climb in 2006, an athlete from a previous wave coming down the mountain took a switchback too fast and plowed into me. Destroyed my bike, my helmet and my glasses and left me with a 4th degree separation in my left shoulder. The shoulder is 100% now in terms of strength, but no luck swimming unless I first opt for surgery and a long (6+ month recovery). For now, no surgery so no triathlon. I know I could round up a great trio for a go at a relay though.
