Anyone else out there feeling as tired as I am in week 34/35!!? I feel like I can't get enough sleep!

Hey Mike, thanks for putting this plan together. I know it wasn't the same course, but I took almost 45 minutes off my time from last year at Wyckoff. Let's see what happens for NYC, my A race.

You looked great out there, George - great job!
For NYC you'll have the benefit of some extra rest, but make sure that you're also getting some along the way. No sense in getting sick at this point -- better to take an extra recovery day now (just skip a day in the program) rather than getting a multi-day setback from picking up a bug.
Keep up the good work!
Mike

Thanks Mike, I actually took an extra day off this week (Tue)... still felt guilty though, but you are absolutely correct, I felt much better on my run yesterday with the extra rest.

Also, nice job with the Wyckoff course! I wasn't too happy about "the hill" at first, but it actually wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. Good to see you out there.

George,
I looked up your splits in NYC... 'great work'... I don't know what you were expecting, but you had a solid performance.

I'm working Mike's program now and will keep you posted.

Dan,
The "plan" worked out great! I was expecting to do better than 3 hours w/a "whisper" time of 2:30. But considering I took off about 45 minutes from last year, I am pretty pumped. Let me know how you are doing...

Thanks for following the race. I see that you had a good race yourself! Congrats!

All the age groups are tough... and you made a real move. I did also in Wyckoff... 15 minutes faster than last year... and my goal is to do 2:30 and better as well. The dude who won the 55-59 age group in NY, did 2:15 ... and I'm thinking... wow... impressive. At the same time, there is no reason we can't do that as well. Are you into the 'Hammer Nutrition' program?

Well you have come a long way on the bike my friend and I think that you have more room for improvement... Are you riding this Saturday?

I'm doing the open water swim with Tom Begg. Leaving from larchmont NY and swimming somewhere. Don't you think I should know where we are going?? Well I trust Tom won't get us lost in the LI Sound.
